Questions
A sound bath is an immersive listening experience where you rest comfortably while instruments such as singing bowls, chimes, and other resonant instruments create layers of sound and vibration.
In my sessions, I also weave in live vocals, creating a soundscape that invites you to slow down, settle into the moment, and experience sound in a different way.
There’s no water involved, and you don’t need any musical or meditation experience to participate.
These terms are often used interchangeably, but they can describe different approaches.
Sound therapy is a broad term for practices that use sound in support of well-being. Sound healing is commonly used in holistic wellness spaces, while a sound bath typically refers to an immersive listening and meditation experience.
My approach combines my background as a professional vocalist with sound-based meditation, singing bowls, and resonant instruments. I offer experiences centred on relaxation, mindfulness, and personal reconnection rather than clinical treatment.
Many people attend sound baths to unwind, quiet mental chatter, and make space for themselves.
Some participants describe feeling deeply relaxed, emotionally reflective, or more grounded afterward. Experiences vary, and there’s no particular response you’re expected to have.
Research into sound-based meditation is still developing, so I don’t promise specific medical or therapeutic outcomes.
Not at all. In fact, sound baths can be a welcoming introduction to meditation for people who find sitting in silence difficult.
You don’t need to clear your mind, follow complicated instructions, or do anything perfectly. Simply get comfortable and allow yourself to listen.
We’ll begin with a brief check-in, giving you an opportunity to share your intentions, preferences, or anything you’d like me to know.
From there, you’ll settle into a comfortable position while I guide you through an immersive sound experience using live voice, singing bowls, and other instruments.
We’ll leave a little space afterward for you to return to the moment before continuing your day.
My private sound sessions start at $111, and group sound baths start at $35 per person.
Private celebrations, retreats, and corporate wellness experiences are quoted according to the size, location, and needs of your gathering.

Absolutely. I offer private sound experiences for celebrations, retreats, wellness gatherings, and corporate teams in Hamilton and surrounding communities.
Each experience can be adapted to the setting and the people attending. Reach out with your event details, and we can explore what would work best.
Sound baths are generally gentle experiences, but comfort and sensitivity to sound and vibration vary from person to person.
Please let me know before your session if you have a pacemaker or other implanted medical device, are pregnant, have a seizure disorder, are sensitive to sound, or have had recent surgery. Some instruments create strong vibrations, especially close to the body, and I may suggest checking with your healthcare professional first.
You’re always welcome to adjust your position, step away, or opt out of an instrument that feels uncomfortable.
Comfort is everything. Please bring a yoga mat and/or a blanket, plus a pillow and water if you like. A limited number of mats and Mined Magic crystal eye masks are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Arrive a few minutes early so you can settle in quietly, and set your phone to silent. For private events, I’ll share setup details before your session.
